Our History

Ythera was founded in 2017 to merge the rich cultural heritage of the Kikuyu people with modern beauty aesthetics. Our mission is to create products that enhance beauty while celebrating cultural identity. The name Ythera comes from the a Kenyan name with a long history of women of Kikuyu tribe. The pattern, made of different letter 'Y's, is inspired by the traditional Kikuyu neckpiece which signifies elegance, strength, and a connection to our roots.
