Born from the need for quality, African-made beauty products that speak to the needs of melanin-rich skin and textured hair, Ythera is more than a brand. It's a celebration of Her, her story, her essence, her skin, her joy.

The name Ythera is deeply personal drawn from Waithera, the name of our founder Anna Njoroge’s grandmother. A beautiful, strong woman full of grace and grounding wisdom.
She is our “Y”, the heartbeat of our why.

We honor her, and every woman like her, in our interlaced Y pattern, inspired by the Kikuyu necklace. A symbol of strength, heritage, and womanhood, this design represents the powerful lineage every African woman carries and the generations we create for.

Ythera is more than a name. It’s a call to remember who we are, every day. To celebrate our Y, to live and love without limits, to Be Limitless.
